ESCP advertises six European cities, but your MiM will probably use two

ESCP MiM from India: The Multi Campus Europe Experience for Indian Applicants

If you are 22, staring at a brochure that promises Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Turin and Warsaw, and wondering whether ESCP's MiM is a European grand tour or an expensive way to pack boxes, the doubt is reasonable. The pitch is a tour. The fine print is narrower: students study on a minimum of two campuses, and the sticker for that experience is about 56,000 euros for a non-EU student. This post separates the marketing from the maths for Indian applicants weighing the ESCP MiM from India.

The six campuses are a menu, not an itinerary

According to the MiM in Europe programme page, the degree runs 24 months and every student must study on at least two of the six campuses. The typical pattern is one campus for the first year and another for the second, with some students rotating across three. Roughly 1,300 students enter each year across all campuses and routes, drawn from 57 nationalities.

Here is the contrarian point. Six cities sounds like six chances, but your choices are constrained by track. The same page notes that Luxury Management sits in Paris or Turin, Energy in London, and Digital Transformation Management is anchored in Berlin. Pick the specialisation first and the campus list shortens fast. Treat the rotation as a design problem: which two cities give you the language, the recruiter access and the cost profile you want, rather than which six look best on a slide.

What the fee table says for a non-EU student

The 2026 to 2027 figures on MiM in Europe's fees page are tuition of 25,200 euros a year for non-EU students, plus 2,800 euros a year in student services. That is 28,000 euros a year and 56,000 euros over two years. Ardent Overseas converts that to roughly 61.9 lakh rupees. EU students pay 48,600 euros in total, so the non-EU premium is about 7,400 euros.

Three extras matter. The application fee is 180 euros, non-refundable. Each additional ESCP campus degree carries a further 1,000 euro charge. And living costs are separate: the fees page puts Paris and London at roughly 15,000 to 22,000 euros a year, while Warsaw and Turin are described as materially cheaper, without a figure. A Warsaw or Turin year is therefore the single biggest lever you control on total cost.

MiM in Europe also ranks ESCP's tuition 76th of the 80 programmes it tracks, against a median of 23,157 euros. That is the site's comparison, not ESCP's, but it tells you ESCP sits at the expensive end. Closer rivals are covered in our HEC Paris MiM explainer and our ESSEC MiM fee breakdown.

If you are a fresh graduate from a tier-1 Indian college

You probably have zero to one year of experience, which fits. ESCP's MiM is pre-experience, and the admission requirements guide says typical admitted students have about 0 to 2 years, often internship-level. You need one test: GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, CAT or TAGE-MAGE, with no published minimum. Admitted students reportedly cluster between 620 and 720 on the GMAT, averaging about 660. English is roughly B2, with IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90 as indicative scores.

The advantage of the CAT being accepted is real, since it saves you a second exam. The risk is a thin story. With no minimum score, the file is decided on narrative, so our application editing service is where most applicants in this group tighten the "why Europe, why these campuses" answer.

If you are an engineer eyeing consulting or luxury

Consulting is the strongest pull. On the salary and outcomes page, the sector split reads consulting 36 percent, finance 22 percent, technology 15 percent, luxury and FMCG 10 percent and energy 8 percent. Those five total 91 percent and the page does not date the split or say where the rest goes, so read it as directional.

The 100 percent employment-within-three-months figure carries the same caveat: the page cites ESCP's most recent report without a year. The 113,000 dollar weighted salary is a Financial Times measure taken about three years after graduation, not a starting offer. A 22-year-old Indian graduate should not budget around it.

The visa maths changes with the campus you pick

Campus choice is also an immigration choice. For French campuses, the Ardent guide says students may work 964 hours a year without a separate permit, and the APS lets a master's graduate stay a year to job hunt, which an Indian-specific bilateral agreement can extend to 24 months in total. Verify the renewal rule with Campus France before relying on it. From 1 August 2026, proof of funds rose to about 877.50 euros a month from 615 euros, and the same guide says proof of funds was the issue raised most often across 80 September 2025 files. Our France multi-year student visa guide covers the paperwork.

London is the wild card. The UK government has confirmed, via The PIE News, that the Graduate Route shrinks from two years to 18 months for bachelor's and master's graduates applying on or after 1 January 2027. I could not confirm from ESCP's public pages how London months interact with UK student sponsorship or that route, so ask the admissions team in writing before you pay a deposit.

When the multi-campus model works against you

It works against you if you need stability. Moving countries after year one means a second visa or residence arrangement, a second housing hunt and a second set of recruiters who know your face less well. It also works against you if you plan to enter French apprenticeship (alternance), which the fees page says waives tuition and pays a salary but requires being under 30 at contract start and French at B2 or C1. Apprenticeship signing deadlines are 15 October for the 24-month track and 15 June for the M2-only track, so if you are reading this in mid-October 2026, the longer route is effectively closing.

What this means for Indian applicants

Decide your two campuses and your specialisation before you decide on ESCP. Round 1 for the 2027 intake is projected at 23 October 2026, with later rounds on 15 January, 12 March and 7 May 2027; ESCP had not published its 2027 calendar when MiM in Europe last checked, so confirm dates on escp.eu. Compare the 56,000 euro bill with cheaper French schools and the wider set on our MBA Abroad page, and run your numbers through profile evaluation so the 180 euro application fee goes toward a realistic shot. Also read our earlier ESCP MiM overview for the rotation logic.

Common questions applicants are asking

How much does the ESCP MiM cost for Indian students? Non-EU students pay 25,200 euros tuition plus 2,800 euros services each year, so 56,000 euros over two years, roughly 61.9 lakh rupees at Ardent's conversion. Living costs and any extra campus degree fees are additional.

Does ESCP accept the CAT instead of the GMAT? Yes, per MiM in Europe's admission guide, ESCP accepts one of GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE, CAT or TAGE-MAGE, with no published minimum score. Treat the 620 to 720 GMAT range as a signal, not a cutoff.

Do I need work experience for the ESCP MiM? No. It is a pre-experience programme and typical admits have 0 to 2 years, often internships. The ESCP-CEIBS Global track asks for at least three months.

Can I study in London for the whole ESCP MiM? The programme requires at least two campuses, so a single-campus plan is not the model. Confirm your intended campus pairing with ESCP before applying.
