What this tier actually gives you.
All three MBB firms, every bulge-bracket bank and the megafunds run formal on-campus processes at these seven schools in the same recruiting season. No other tier offers that overlap.
The consequence for an Indian applicant is optionality rather than certainty. You are not buying a consulting offer, you are buying the right to compete for a consulting offer, a banking offer and a product offer in the same autumn without transferring schools. That is worth roughly $80,000 more than the domestic alternative, and whether it is worth it to you depends on whether you will use more than one of those doors.
The tier is also where the visa arithmetic works best. STEM designation on most of these programmes converts one H-1B lottery attempt into three, which is the single largest structural advantage available to an international graduate in the United States.

Which M7 school is easiest to get into?
None of them, and the question misreads the problem. Acceptance rates across the seven run between roughly 6 and 20 percent, but the applicant pools differ so much that the rate tells you little. Booth and Kellogg admit a larger share of a larger pool; Stanford admits a tiny share of a self-selecting one.
The more useful question is which school's cohort your profile is under-represented in, and that changes the answer per applicant.
Do I need a 740 GMAT for the M7?
For an over-represented Indian engineering profile, 740 is the number that removes the score from the conversation. Averages across the tier sit between 728 and 740. Below 710 the rest of the application has to carry unusual weight, and one retake is almost always the better use of six weeks.
Is the extra cost over a T15 school justified?
Only if you use the optionality. The M7 premium over a strong T15 school is roughly $15,000 to $25,000 across two years, which is small. What you are paying for is the right to compete in consulting, banking and product recruiting in the same season. If you already know your function, a T15 school with a deep pipeline into it is the rational purchase.
How many Indian students are in an M7 class?
India is consistently the largest single non-US nationality across the tier, typically 6 to 10 percent of a class. That is both encouraging and the reason positioning matters: the seat you are competing for is mostly contested by profiles that look like yours.
